Leng Hong Pheng

Biography

Dr. Leng Hong Pheng has over 10 years of industry and consulting experience in pre-clinical studies and pharmacometrics. He joined Certara in 2008 as Associate Scientist and later became Associate Director in 2015. He is responsible for PK and PK/PD analysis using state-of-the-art methods and software and performs non-compartmental, compartmental and population PK modeling in various phases of drug development and in specific populations. Prior to joining Certara, Dr. Pheng worked at both pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies as a scientist, and his main responsibilities were to design and conduct in vitro and in vivo studies, and to perform non-clinical pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic analysis. Dr. Pheng obtained his PhD in Pharmacology from the University of Sherbrooke in 2000, after which he conducted postdoctoral research in neuroscience at McGill University. In his free time, he enjoys hiking, skiing and kayaking.
