Timothy Bergsma

Biography

 Tim Bergsma has been consulting in pharmacometrics since 2004. Joining the Certara family in 2014, his work focuses mainly on population PK/PD modeling and exposure-response analysis. Tim is an avid tool developer, with a special interest in workflow optimization. He has extensive experience in manipulation and visualization of pharmacometric data, and has written several extensions for the R language. Previously, Tim worked for Metrum Research Group and did some independent consulting. He holds a PhD in Ecology, Evolutionary Biology and Behavior from Michigan State University (2000) where he served 3 years as information manager for a field research station. Before graduate school, Tim was a high school science teacher. He lives in Indiana with his wife and 6 children.
