Virna Schuck

Biography

 Dr. Schuck has extensive experience in supporting the Discovery and Early Development of Oncology and Infectious Diseases projects. Throughout her professional career, Dr. Schuck’s responsibilities included understanding the pharmacokinetics and metabolism of novel compounds and estimation of human pharmacokinetics; assessment of pre-clinical efficacy and translation to clinical efficacious targets; preclinical and clinical PK/PD approaches; and Clinical Pharmacology strategies. She also held numerous leadership positions, managing teams of scientists in Pharmacology and Modeling and Simulation to deliver on quantitative understanding of PK/PD relationships to support project decisions.  She was the team leader for Quantitative Pharmacology Teams, cross functional teams of scientists responsible to deliver quantitative pharmacology strategies, including exposure-response and PK/PD modeling, and strategic guidance to project teams. When Virna is not at work she enjoys traveling and spending time with her family and their dog. In her free time, she is involved in sports, music, and the Cub Scouts with her kids.
