Washer Glenn

Biography

Glenn Washer joined Charles River in 2010 as General Manager of the Company’s Safety Assessment facility in Montreal, Canada. Mr. Washer was promoted to the position of Corporate Vice President in 2011 and Corporate Senior Vice President, North American Safety Assessment in 2014. Mr. Washer is an industry veteran with more than 30 years of experience. From 1983 to 2002, he held various scientific and management roles at CTBR (now Charles River Montreal). Between 2002 and 2010, Mr. Washer held Director or Vice President of Toxicology positions at Theratechnologies Inc., a Canadian-based biotechnology company; ITR Laboratories; and LAB Research Inc. Mr. Washer received his B.Sc. degree from McGill University, and is a board-certified toxicologist. He has served as a faculty member for the Pharmaceutical Education and Research Institute (2002-2012), has lectured in toxicology for McGill University and Université de Montréal and has served on the editorial board for the International Journal of Toxicology (2007-2012). Mr. Washer is a full-member of both the Society of Toxicology and the American College of Toxicology.
