Biography

Laurence Motte is a Professor at the University of Paris 13, France and manages Nanomaterials group in the CSPBAT Laboratory. Her topic is to develop nanomaterials for biological applications. The objective is to develop a multifunctional magnetic nanoplatform for bioassays diagnosis and therapy. The nanoparticle has two essential roles: to act as a probe owing to its specific magnetic properties and to carry on its surface antitumoral molecules therapeutic applications or precursor groups for the covalent coupling of biological recognition molecules such as antibodies peptides in vitro in vivo diagnosis. She received a PhD in Physical Chemistry in 1994 from the University of Paris 6, France. She is serving as an editorial board member of many journals and as a reviewer of 7 journals.
