Marco Robert Gorgas

Biography

As COO Marco Robert Gorgas is responsible for production and supply chain. He has many years of pharmaceutical experience. Prior to joining the Aenova Group he held various management positions at the pharmaceutical manufacturer STADA Arzneimittel AG for many years. Among other things he was responsible for the activities in Russia und for the production as managing director. As Senior Vice President Global Operations Mr Gorgas was responsible for all STADA production sites (15 plants in Europe and Asia), the contract manufacturing activities for third parties and for product transfers. He had previously worked for more than ten years for the consultants Capgemini Deutschland predominantly in the fields of Life Science and Business Transformation as well as a member of the extended management in the German-speaking area. Throughout his career Mr Gorgas has gained extensive experience particularly in the areas of Supply Chain, pharmaceutical production, operational excellence, continuous improvement, strategic orientation, M&A, procurement and reorganisation
