Biography
As Senior Vice President of Support and Technical Services, Mike Reading leads the field technical teams that are responsible for customer presales, professional services, technical account management and support. Mike has over 15 years of experience delivering messaging and messaging security solutions to service providers, mobile operators and fortune 500 companies. While at Cloudmark, Mike was part of the initial team of solutions architects that lead Cloudmark’s evolution from a company primarily focused on consumer and desktop applications to a company positioned to solve messaging security problems for some of the world’s largest service providers. Mike has led the development of the company’s anti-abuse policy best practices and sender reputation strategies, and helped Cloudmark establish and maintain market leadership across the Americas and around the world. Prior to Cloudmark, Mike was at Openwave (Software.com) where he was responsible for bringing carrier-scale ISP and mobile messaging solutions to its worldwide customers. He helped lead the strategy to expand Openwave’s offerings into messaging anti-abuse solutions, which lead to the development of several anti-abuse products and an eventual partnership between Openwave and Cloudmark. Mike holds a master’s degree in mechanical and computer-aided engineering from Cornell University. Mike has been part of M3AAWG since its inception and is currently on the M3AAWG board.
