Biography
He is a neurologist. His articles got published in many neurology journals. His research interest includes: His present research focuses the operating principles of neurons cover two areas: Synaptic integration, Discharge patterning, and Spike conduction. I investigate using analytical methods how the morphological and electrical properties of the membrane shape the integrative and firing properties of neurons. His recent works in this field clarify the impact of membrane heterogeneities on the operation of neurons Integrative properties of motoneurons and Spinal physiology. In collaboration with the electrophysiologists of the laboratory I study how lumbar motoneurons integrate incoming synaptic inputs and how proprioceptive information is filtered and used in the spinal cord to control movements. My most recent work in this field deals with shunting inhibition of motoneurons.
