Biography
Senior researcher Pascale Delecluse is an alumna of the École Normale Supérieure with a Doctor of Science degree. She is the originator of an ocean modeling system for studying the dynamics of tropical oceans, their interaction with the atmosphere and the role of the ocean in the evolution of the global climate. She is a member of the IFREMER and IRSTEA scientific committees. In 1983, she was awarded the CNRS Bronze Medal, followed by the Silver Medal in 1999. She served as deputy director of research at Météo-France from 2006 to July 2014, when she was named director of the INSU.
Research Interest
The national and international level, in astronomy and in the Solid Earth Sciences, the ocean, space and the environment.
