Biography
1988-1991: PhD (DPhil) leukaemia research in Northern Ireland and USA. 1991: moved to St George’s Hospital Medical School (London) Dept. Haematology as Postdoctoral Scientist working on Chronic Anaemia’s & Stem Cell Disorders and clinical trials. 1996: became Senior Lecturer in Biomedical Sciences at Kingston University. 1999: founded and became Director of the Stem Cell Therapy Laboratory (on site at St George’s Hospital) specialising in Stem Cell Research and regenerative medicine. 2001: promoted to Associate Professor.
