Biography
Dr. Wright received his bachelor's degree in Biology from John Brown University in 1990. He earned his master's degree in Plant Breeding and Genetics from the University of Arkansas in 1993. In 1997, Dr. Wright received his doctorate in Genetics from Texas A&M University.
Research Interest
My professional career has focused on integrating molecular techniques with classical approaches to crop improvement, specifically; utilizing DNA based strategies to assist with the discovery and selection of important genes controlling crop productivity and quality.
