Biography
The task of explaining complex issues to my clients in a clear, concise manner is one of the great challenges he enjoys about his work. He has a diverse portfolio of clients, both in the UK and internationally. He is primarily involved with private client work, with a particular focus on landed estates and entrepreneurs. He is able to look after the various areas of a client’s affairs, encompassing personal tax, trusts, capital tax planning and their incorporated and unincorporated businesses. His other key area is advising non-domiciled individuals who are living in the UK already, or seeking to move to the UK, on topics including residence and remittance issues. With the legislation and guidance in this area complex and changing regularly. He staysc on top of the rules to ensure he can provide his clients with clear pro-active advice as changes are announced and implemented. He also specializes in advising start-up businesses on their financial and tax implications, with a particular focus on renewable energy. Awarded the Institute Medal and CCH Prize for best overall performance in CIOT exams. Awarded the Strachan Prize for being placed in the Annual Order of Merit in ICAEW exams. Awarded the ‘Accountant of the Year’ prize in Spear’s 2013 Young Turks Awards. Named as one of Private Client Practitioner’s Top 35 Under 35 in 2010, 2011 and 2012.
