Sonya Rees

Biography

Sonya specialises in private client work and advises a wide variety of clients including UK resident and non-UK resident individuals and the Trustees of both onshore and offshore Trusts.   She advises on tax advisory and compliance matters as well as providing accounting and company secretarial services.   She advises extensively on the tax affairs of both UK and non-UK domiciliary clients including income tax, capital gains tax and inheritance tax planning along with the administration of deceased estates.   Sonya acts as an Expert Witness on tax matters in divorce proceedings and has a particular interest in advising clients on “life after divorce”. She also acts as Trustee and Executor for a number of clients.   Sonya was named as one of Private Client Practitioner’s Top 35 Under 35 in 2010 and 2011 and has been included in Citywealth’s Leaders List from 2012 to 2017.
