Sophie Lemaitre

Biography

Sophie joined Dixon Wilson in 1998 and became the firm’s first French partner in 2004. She is based in the Paris office and speaks English fluently.   Sophie advises French companies and other businesses with a French activity. Her work involves daily contact with companies based in the UK, in the US, but also other countries using English as a professional language. Sophie provides services and advice relating to set-up matters, tax compliance, French bookkeeping, payroll, financial reporting under French and international standards.   Sophie advises individuals on their tax affairs and assists with their French tax compliance requirements. This work covers personal tax, succession matters, French trust tax compliance and sole-trade matters. She also assists private clients with family office type work.   She has particular expertise in assisting international artists, models and sportspersons with their French tax compliance requirements.   In the event of enquiries from the French tax authorities she assists her clients in bringing the enquiries to a resolution smoothly and promptly.
