Biography
I like the size of the department. We're small enough that we all know each other and the staff knows each of us well, but large enough to have awesome research opportunities for undergraduates as well as graduates.
Research Interest
I have worked on several research projects at Drexel under Dr. Michel Barsoum: testing of an environmentally friendly recycled slag-based cement; nanoindentation of layered materials and single- and polycrystal oxides; and development of a new 2D material called MXene derived from MAX phase, a cross between metals and ceramics, with Drs. Barsoum and Gogotsi.
