Biography
Philippe Razin is currently a Professor at the ENSEGID in the University of Bordeaux, France. He obtained is PhD from Bordeaux University in 1989 and joined the French Geological Survey (BRGM) as an expert in sedimentology and basin analysis. He then joined Bordeaux University in 1997 where he teaches sedimentary geology, geodynamics and field mapping. His research activities concern the sedimentology and sequence stratigraphy of carbonate and siliciclastic systems, especially in the Middle East, Morocco and Pyrenees, in collaboration with oil companies and geological surveys.
