Anja De Jong

Biography

 Anja de Jong is COO for Europe and Middle East and responsible for Operations. She joined Ecofys in September 2013. Anja has a track record in integrating complex, multi- faceted systems and processes. After finishing her studies in Business Economics at the University of Tilburg, she worked as junior policy advisor in the waste sector. In 1999, Anja started as a trainee at a utility company and worked in several finance functions before taking up the post of business controller for the Asset Management department. In 2004, Anja joined the Regulatory department at the grid company and was responsible for diverse regulatory dossiers. Over the following period, Anja set up a department with Energy balance analysts to tackle the issues around differences in the balance and problems in the allocation and reconciliation process. In 2009, she merged this department with a business control department and focussed on the integration of multiple large departments.
