Biography
I am a researcher interested in machine learning and computational biology, working as: Director of the Centre for Computational Biology at Mines ParisTech. Deputy director of the Mines ParisTech - Curie Institute - INSERM U900 joint laboratory on Bioinformatics and Computational Systems Biology of Cancer at the Curie Institute. Professor at the Department of Mathematics and their Applications at the Ecole normale supérieure
Research Interest
My main research interest concerns the development of statistical and machine learning methods for computational biology. I am particularly interested in modelling complex data, such as genomic informations, DNA 3D structures or epigenetic data, and developing predictive models for drug discovery and personalized medicine in cancer research.
