Biography
Marc Porée, former student of the ENS (1975), Associate of English (1978), Doctor of 3 e cycle (1984), authorized to supervise research (1996), is Professor of English at LILA department. He was appointed director of this department in January 2013. Elected at the ENS in 2011, he was assistant-normal at the University of Paris III (1983-1986), MCF at the University of Paris IV-Sorbonne (1987-1997), Professor at the University of Paris III-Sorbonne Nouvelle (1997-2011), Visiting Professor at the University of Austin, Texas (2001-2002). He is a member of the bureau of the eleventh section of the CNU, and co-leads the Vortex team, within Prismes (EA 4398), Paris III-Sorbonne Nouvelle.
Research Interest
His research focuses on romance, English poetry (XIX e -XXI e ), contemporary British fiction, Indo-English novel, Englishness.
