Biography
Clare Gately joined EDHEC in 2016 prior to which she spent nineteen years as a tenured lecturer in Strategy and Entrepreneurship at the Waterford Institute of Technology, Ireland. Her main teaching and research interests lie in technology entrepreneurship, new venture formation and lean start-up. She has worked as an SME mentor across a range of industries and managed a New Venture Initiative undergraduate programme for many years. Clare was a co-founder and CEO of an Enterprise Ireland funded start-up company; Josh Medical Ltd. In 2016, Clare received the Exellence in Teaching Award nomination at WIT.
