Biography
Yan Du, Ph.D, is Associate Professor of Accounting and a member of the Family Business Center at EDHEC Business School in France. After receiving her PhD in Applied Economics (major in Accounting) from University of Antwerp (Belgium) in 2011, she was the faculty at IÉSEG School of Management (France) till 2016. She has gained valuable experience in the research areas of corporate governance and management control, with a special interest in management control and governance of privately held family firms, financing small businesses and performance evaluation and monitoring in multinational corporations. She has published articles in international peer-reviewed journals, such as Corporate Governance: An International Review; European Accounting Review; International Business Review; Journal of International Management.
