Biography
Jan Ellenberg completed PhD from Freie Universität Berlin in 1988. He completed Predoctoral and postdoctoral research at the National Institutes of Health (NIH), Bethesda. He is Group leader at EMBL since 1999.He was Head of Gene Expression Unit 2006-2010.Head of Cell Biology and Biophysics Unit since 2010.ERC Advanced Investigator since 2016.
