Biography
Stéphane Altaba has an engineering degree in Agronomy (ENSAIA), a PhD in Biotechnology (INPL) and a postgraduate degree in Management from the ESCP-EAP business school. He spent over 3 years in Japan as a post-doctorate fellow at the RIKEN Institute and worked for Investment Bank UI Japan (Crédit Agricole). From 1994 and for over 12 years, Stéphane had various responsibilities in R&D and Industrial Affairs in RPR, Aventis, and in Business Development for Sanofi. In his last assignment with Sanofi, he was Director of Corporate Licenses Oncology. From 2006 to 2015, Stéphane Altaba evolved within the Nordic Pharma Group where he developed the product portfolio through partnerships and set up new Nordic affiliates in Europe. During this period he started the Swiss, the Spanish and the Italian companies, for which he served as General Manager from 2009 to 2013. In 2013 he was appointed Vice-President Corporate Business Development and member of the Executive Team.
