Chris Mahoney

Biography

Mr Chris Mahoney joined Glencore in September 1998. From September 1998 until November 2002, he was responsible for Glencore’s agricultural product activities in the CIS, South Africa and South America. In November 2002, he became director of the Agricultural Products business segment, overseeing all global farming, logistics, processing and marketing businesses, responsible for both strategy and operations. Before joining Glencore, he spent 17 years with Cargill, being based in the UK, the U.S., Singapore and Switzerland, and held various management positions in sugar and grain, gaining expertise in the agricultural products industry and marketing operations. He graduated from Oxford University.
