Biography
Director General, Business Development & Scientific Affairs Pascal Breton, PhD. Co-founder of VitamFero, is General Manager and Vice President Business Development. He has over 25 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry in Europe and North America. Alongside Dr. Nicole Bru, former owner and president of UPSA Laboratories (Bristol-Myers & Squibb), he founded and led the Virsol company dedicated to the development of new biomaterials for the administration and targeting of active ingredients. authorized in 2010 the US registration of a wound suturing agent (BondEase®). Dr. Pascal Breton has also held, within the Halisol group, the role of Investment Director in Life Sciences, and as such, has been appointed to the boards of companies such as Conjuchem Inc. (Montreal), Rimon Therapeutics Ltd. (Toronto), BagTech Corp. (Montreal) or Aarmedis Corp. (Baltimore). More recently, Dr. Pascal Breton served as Business Development Director and Project Manager on the development of MEPACT® for IDM SA, a subsidiary of IDM Pharma Inc. (NASDAQ: IDMI). MEPACT® was registered in Europe in 2009 and is currently marketed by Takeda / Millennium. Dr. Pascal Breton then joined SGS Life Sciences Services (SGS LSS) as Key Account Director Biotech World. Holder of a doctorate in science from the University of Orleans (1989), Dr. Pascal Breton worked for 3 years at the National Institute of Health (NCI Bethesda MD and NIEHS Research Triangle Park NC,
