Biography
Kayvan Bozorgmore studied medicine in Frankfurt am Main and promoted (Dr.med) at the Institute of Social Medicine, Epidemiology and Health Economics at the Charité Universitätsmedizin Berlin. He completed a Master of Science degree in Public Health at the International School of Public Health at Umeå University in Sweden, and completed a socio-epidemiological work on commercial liberalization and social determinants of tuberculosis incidence in 22 countries. Since 2012, Mr. Bozorg has been a research associate at the Department of General Medicine and Care Research at Heidelberg University Hospital. His scientific interests are social determinants of health, health inequality and health system research with regard to transnational interdependencies and interactions. Mr. Bozorgmehr is a member of the law firm Georg Forster of the University of Heidelberg in the teaching of Global Health for medical students.
