Biography
Albert Saporta is a graduate of ESSEC, Paris and of the Harvard Business School (PMD). He joined the Mérieux Group in 1977, where he held numerous positions as Chief Financial Officer of Institut Mérieux, European Director of Pasteur-Mérieux Sérums & Vaccines and Director of International Development at Pasteur-Mérieux-Connaught. In 1999, he joined Stallergenes, a biopharmaceutical company specializing in allergen immunotherapy, as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. Under its leadership until 2011, the company is experiencing a phase of strong growth uninterrupted. Arès Life Sciences acquired Stallergènes in 2010 and Albert Saporta still sits on its Board of Director
