Biography
He is having expertise in Synapses, circuits and pathologies. Richard Miles’s team studies cortical function and dysfunction in focal epilepsies, developing and exploiting new techniques of stimulation and optical recording. The team then uses them in physiological and pathological situations, to stimulate specific cell types, to image lipids and ions and to perform multi-cell activity recording while modulating certain receptor function.
