Biography
Non-executive Director Roland is Chief Financial Officer and Managing Director of QIAGEN N.V. and joined IDS in 2011 as Non-executive Director and Chair of the Audit Committee. As CFO, Roland spearheads the creation and execution of long-term financial plans which enable QIAGEN to execute its accelerated growth strategy. He was responsible for numerous financing activities both on the equity side and the debt capital side with a total value of more than US$3bn, which supported more than 25 M&A transactions and led to significant revenue and profit growth. Roland holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration (Diploma Kaufmann) from the University of Münster.
