Biography
Denis Hervé, former Norman, research director Inserm, co-leads the team “Neurotransmission and Signaling " at the Institut du Fer à Moulin with Jean-Antoine Girault . His field of research is neuropharmacology and concerns the neural bases of learning, motivation and reward. His current research is aimed at better understanding the mechanisms of drug addiction and the effects of L-DOPA in Parkinson's. Thesis with Jean-Pol Tassin in the laboratory of Jacques Glowinski at the Collège de France. Post-doc in the laboratory of Alain Beaudet at the Neurological Institute of Montreal. From 1983 to 1999, researcher in the laboratory of Jacques Glowinski. From 2000 to 2008, he was in charge of the team "Signaling of dopaminergic signals" in the laboratory of Jean-Antoine Girault (Inserm U536) Head of the pet shop of the Iron Institute at Moulin . Former member of several project evaluation committees in Europe and France. Member of the Society for Neurosciences and the Society of Neurosciences. Teacher of the Master "Cellular biology physiology pathology" of the René Descartes University from 2005 to 2007. Participation in several juries of thesis or HDR.
