Biography
Suzette DELALOGE, MD MSc, is Associate Professor of Medical Oncology and Head of Breast Cancer Department at Gustave Roussy Institute, Paris, France. She is a member of the INSERM U981 Unit dedicated to tumour biomarkers in oncology. She has received numerous academic grants for research activities since 2000. Her major areas of expertise and development, in addition to the breast-screening clinic, are the management of individuals at high risk of breast cancer, therapeutic development guided by prognostic and predictive biology, and the organization of care in breast oncology. In November 2014, she has been elected as new chairwoman of the National French Cooperative Breast Cancer InterGroup-Unicancer UCBG. She is a member of American Society of Clinical Oncology, European Society of Medical Oncology, French Society of Breast Care and Breast Pathology. Dr Delaloge is a member of the editorial board of the international journals Annals of Oncology and The Breast. She has organized since 2000 an innovative high-risk clinic dedicated to women at high genetic risk. She has launched in 2004 the first French One Stop Unit dedicated to breast lesions, in which more than 15,000 women have been seen as yet, making it the world’s largest experience.
