Biography
Contractual PhD student at LAIOS under the direction of Birgit Müller,My work focuses on the evolution of agroecological practices and the sociotechnical networks that bear them, in relation to the ideological and structural redefinition of the Cuban system. From an ethnographic fieldwork on the collective practices of agroecology in a rural municipality of Cuba, I organize my research on the following questions: how are socio-technical networks configured around the adoption of agroecological practices? As part of the decentralization and reduction of the Cuban State's field of action, how public action in the area of agriculture and rural development, conceived within the framework of the Green Revolution, under the influence of these networks? How do the reforms linked to the process of "updating" the Cuban economic and social model take on meaning and body for the actors involved in the development of agroecology at the local level? It will be a question of putting this work in an analysis on the long time of the change of the agricultural practices and the organization of the Cuban agricultural sector, but also to be extracted from an analysis of this sector only to understand it in its relation with the territory in which it is inserted.
