Biography
Mr. Ronald D. Barbaro is Director of the company. He brings the board to seven persons, along with Doug Blakeway, Brian Causey, Dickson Hall, Bozena Kaminska, Ken Tolmie and Bernard Zinkhofer, who were all re-elected. Mr. Barbaro brings a wealth of sales and marketing experience from a wide range of industries. He is currently chairman of the board of Smart Employee Benefits Inc. and a director of Bardya Brokerage Services Inc. Over the years, Mr. Barbaro has held many director positions, including president and director of the Prudential Insurance Company of America Worldwide Operations, chairman and chief executive officer of the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation, chairman of the Brick Group, and special adviser and chairman of the Premier of Ontario's economic recovery team. A total of 50,000 stock options exercisable for five years at $1.28 were awarded to Mr. Barbaro, subject to customary regulatory approval and vesting conditions.
