Biography
Laura Gelso graduated from the Fine Arts school, specializing in Art History and Painting at Concordia University in Canada, and then pursued her studies in architecture. In 1997, she graduated from the School of Architecture at the University of Montreal, as well as a student medal from the American Institute of Architects, USA. Laura has worked in internationally acclaimed agencies in New York and the UK on academic, institutional, research laboratory projects, including two award-winning museums. She joined the Jean-Paul Viguier Architecture Agency in 2007 and became a partner in 2011. In 2009, Laura undertook the creation of a center of interior architecture within the agency. This team now includes 6 architects and designers whose mission is to extend the concepts generating projects in the interior spaces of the agency's achievements. She headed up the development of the Eiffage Head Office in Vélizy , Prisma Presse headquarters in Gennevilliers, SFR headquarters in Saint-Denis and the MUSE shopping center in Metz . Alongside the management of interior design projects, Laura collaborates and directs the design of various architectural projects at the agency. In 2014, she obtained a degree in Executive MBA from HEC Paris, with a specialization in Entrepreneurship and Innovation. His final dissertation entitled "From the business of design to business design" explores the creative ways of the company in search of radical innovation.
