Nabila Mechti

Biography

 Nabila Mechti, Exploration Geologist at JUNEX since 2010, is in charge of oil and gas exploration projects in Quebec. She supervises the geological aspects of different drilling campaigns and evaluates the hydrocarbon potential of Quebec’s reservoirs. Previously, she served as a geologist and engineering geologist in other oil companies in Quebec and Algeria, and also participates in research projects at the French Petroleum Institute (IFP) in Paris and at TOTAL (Pau-France) in collaboration with the École des Mines de Paris. Specialized in Sedimentology and Geochemistry, she graduated as an engineer geologist and obtained her Master’s degree from different universities; USTHB Houari Boumediene in 1999 (Algeria), Orsay PARIS XI south in 2003 and Pierre and Marie Curie Paris 6 in 2004 (France). Since 2008, Nabila has been a member of the Ordre des géologues du Québec.
