Biography

Former Internal and Assistant of the hospitals of Marseilles. Specialized in medical and surgical vitreoretinal pathology. SFO Research Award for a year of research in the team of Dr. Picaud at the Institut de la Vision (Paris) and Dr. Chavanne at the Institute of Neuroscience of Timone (Marseille) On animal model analysis of prosthesis / retina interfacing. Holder of a thesis of Neurosciences on the theme of retinal prosthetics. Author or co-author of 70 referenced articles and many chapters of didactic books. Fréderic matonti is the driving force behind the P 1.5 association. A young university professor, he practices in the Northern hospitals and La Timone in Marseille.
