Biography
Eric Cauvin holds a doctorate in management sciences from the IAE of Aix en Provence. After having worked in the audit for PriceWaterhouseC oopers, he taught 15 years at EDHEC where he created and managed an accounting department - management control center and a research center dedicated to evaluation and performance management. He was then two years Professor Visiting the Bu siness School of the U University of Colorado in Denver. He then spent 7 years at the IAE in Aix-en-Provence where he directed the Management Control at the Institute of Business Administration. He is currently a Professor at the IAE in Nice, and affiliated with KEDGE Business School. He is also the author of numerous articles in these published in French and American scientific journals (Accounting - Control - Audit, Finance - Control - Strategy, Journal of Cost Management, ...). He has co - organized from 2001 to 2013, in partnership t with EIASM (European Institute for Advanced Studies in Management), a conference on performance evaluation
Research Interest
He is interested in systems of calculation of the costs and evaluation of the performances. It is including the co - author of a manual devoted to the management accounting Gualino, entitled Costs and Decisions.
