Education: B.A. in Women's Studies, Wellesley College B.S.N., Regis College M.S.N., W.H.N.P., Drexel University Prior Experience: Staff Nurse at BIDMC on OB/GYN 2006 - present, Staff Nurse at Newton Wellesley Hospital on Mother/Baby 2007-2010, Patient Care Assistant at Newton Wellesley Hospital on Mother/Baby 2005-2006, Unit Coordinator at Newton Wellesley Hospital in Special Care Nursery, Mother/Baby and Labor & Delivery 2003-2006 Courses Taught: Clinical Instructor for Nursing 2000 Academic Research/Interests: HPV, contraceptive technologies, breastfeeding, pre-eclampsia, gestational diabetes, high risk pregnancies Areas of Expertise: High risk antepartum nursing, postpartum nursing, well newborn nursing Why I Teach: To inspire the next generation of nurses and to challenge students to think critically about their actions as "the nurse".
