Todd Lyon

Biography

Todd Lyon is Managing Director and Founder of Lyon Wealth Management, Inc. at HighTower. He joined HighTower in 2008 with over 33 years of experience in the financial services industry and specializes in asset management and financial advising. Prior to joining HighTower, Todd worked for Dean Witter and Morgan Stanley, where he was named Chairman of the Financial Advisors Council of Technology. He attained Chairman’s Club status, a designation reserved for those advisors producing in the top one percent of the firm. His designations included Senior Vice President, Wealth Advisor and Senior Institutional Consultant. Todd is a member of the Investment Management Consulting Association and is a Certified Investment Management Analyst. He is also a Certified Wealth Strategist as well as an Accredited Investment Fiduciary®, and he holds the series 7, 63, 65 licenses. Todd received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley in 1982. He completed finance and investment consulting coursework at the Wharton School of Business in 1994. Todd is currently the President of the North Marin Networkers and a former member of the University of California, Berkeley Bear Backers board of directors .Todd lives in Marin County, California with his wife, Mimi, and their five children ‐ Nicholas, Miah, Carter, Jared and Bear. He enjoys skiing, golf and fly fishing as well as coaching youth football and rugby.
