Biography
Herbert Koentges has been Director and Chief Business Officer of Medical Device Works Nv SA since December 12, 2005. He is also Member of the Remuneration Committee of the Company. Additionally, he serves as European Regulatory Representative at ATRICURE. He is also an investor and serves as Director and Head of Commercial, Sales and Marketing Development at MDW. Prior to joining MDW, he was co-founder of three start-ups specializing in development of surgical devices in the United States and in the European Union. He also worked for over 25 years in marketing, sales and clinical research within American and European companies. He obtained a Doctorate in Philosophy degree in Chemical Engineering from Technische Universitaet Berlin (TU Berlin), as well as a Masters of Business Administration degree from INSEAD.
