Biography
Brian Derrick serves as the vice president of Marketing for Mentor Graphics and general manager of the company's Mechanical, Integrated Electrical Systems, and High Level Synthesis divisions. Brian joined Mentor in 1997. In his former role of vice president and general manager of the company's IC division he was instrumental in developing and executing the strategy that has enabled Calibre to become the industry-wide standard for physical verification and resolution enhancement. Prior to joining Mentor, Brian held several marketing positions of increasing responsibility at Allied Signal and ultimately managed the Instrument Systems marketing organization. Brian holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from the University of Idaho.
