Biography
Alain Bernard is a graduate of ENSIIE engineering school, formerly an IIE Business Informatics Institute, and a Master's Degree in Marketing from ESSEC. He knows the SME-SMI market well and started his career in the world of entrepreneurship. At the end of his studies, he founded a small software company and then created a real estate company before joining IBM as Marketing Director for SME-SMI and Partners, Marketing Director for France and finally Director of Global Business Sales. After more than 10 years at IBM, he joined Microsoft France in December 2007 as Sales Manager for Manufacturing & Professional Services of the Large Accounts Division (EPG) and then returned to the SME-SMI sector where he made his first by becoming, in January 2010, Partner Commercial Director of the SME / SMI and Partners division. After two years in this position, Alain Bernard officially takes over the management of this division. Its objective is to strengthen Microsoft's strategic positioning in supporting small and medium-sized businesses in the face of digital challenges. In particular, he will focus on teaching Microsoft's cloud offering to facilitate and encourage SMEs to seize this opportunity, which is synonymous with development and growth. Drawing on his previous experience with IBM and his knowledge of Microsoft's ecosystem, he is also keen to continue developing the company's communication with the network of partners in France, to offer them more and more listening and to help them meet new challenges related to product renewals.
