Biography
Thierry Amarger, 43, has a strong international experience in the technology sector. He returned to France in 2012 after 16 years of expatriation to take the post of President and CEO of Nokia France SA. He began his career at Citröen in Paris. He then joined Gemplus (now Gemalto) where he spent 10 years in Venezuela, the United States and finally in Brazil where he led a Joint Venture. He joined Nokia in 2006 in Mexico as Director of the Telefonica account for Latin America before becoming General Manager for Spain and Portugal. He will be responsible, with his team, to market all Microsoft products and services to the general public and to develop relations with our partners in retail, manufacturers, telecom operators and distributors. Thierry Amarger graduated from the Ecole Supérieure de Commerce in Marseille (KEDGE Business School) and holds an Executive MBA from the IE Business School. He was named in 2013 by the Institut Choiseul in the list of 150 economic leaders of tomorrow.
