Biography
Alejandro join the Information Systems, Supply Chain & Decisions department of NEOMA Business School as Assistant professor in August 2014. He is a PhD in Economics and Management Sciences of Université Catholique de Louvain (UCL), and M.Sc. in Engineering of Pontificia Universidad Catolica de Chile. Alejandro’s research interests are the Supply Chain Management and the Operations Management. Specifically, he studies the interactions between firms that operate in competitive and uncertain environments. His research appears in international scientific journals such as European Journal of Operations Research and Waste Management & Research, and international conference proceedings. He participates frequently in INFORMS Conference, POMS conference, EURO Conference among others scientific conferences and workshops. He serves as an ad-hoc referee of European Journal of Operations Research, IIE Transactions and Journal of the Air and Waste Management & Research. Before joining NEOMA BS, Alejandro was Assistant professor at the Engineering Science department of Universidad Andres Bello in Chile, and he was Teaching and Research Assistant at Louvain School of Management and Center of Operations Research and Econometrics, at UCL.
