Biography
Chris has over 15 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical sector. He joined the Rothschild Healthcare Investment Banking team in 2000, having qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Arthur Andersen, and over the next 10 years worked on over 30 completed deals. He left Rothschild to join a start-up specialist diagnostic imaging company, Nuada Medical, as CFO before joining Shire plc in 2012 as Head of M&A. While at Shire, Chris worked on a number of transactions, including the $4.2 billion acquisition of Viropharma Inc. Chris originally trained as a scientist, reading Physics at Lady Margaret Hall, Oxford.
