Kristoffer W. Balling

Biography

Kristoffer Balling, works as a Principal scientist in the Global Research unit of Novo Nordisk Research & Development. With an interest and education within haemophilia, the job as scientist in In vitro Haemophilia Biology was a perfect fit for me.  The most exciting part of his job is to get novel compounds to work. Moving compounds forward, becoming increasingly sure that this drug will have an effect. He then finalizes  the studies and establish a good scientific basis for handing over compounds for toxicology and subsequent first dose in humans. In the future, tracking the progress of the clinical development, he will hopefully see that what he was part of designing works for treatment of patients.

Clinical care of diabetes, obesity, dyslipidemia and thyroid disorders.
