Joseph A. Francisco

Biography

Joe Francisco’s primary area of focus is the pharmacology and toxicology of therapeutic proteins (with an emphasis on monoclonal antibodies and antibody drug conjugates) and small molecule drugs. In his career at Charles River, he has provided strategic and tactical guidance to a diverse array of domestic and international pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies ranging from small virtual companies to large multinational organizations. Dr. Francisco has co-authored over 20 scientific publications and a number of US and international patent applications. He is a member and councilor of the American College of Toxicology (ACT); a member of the Society of Toxicology (SOT) and its Pacific Northwest regional chapter of the SOT (PANWAT); and previously served as a councilor in the SOT Biotechnology Specialty Section.
