Biography
Mrs Ricci has over 30 years’ pharmaceutical industry experience. She started her career at Serono in 1978 before moving to the US to establish relations with R&D companies and investment firms in the emerging biotechnology sector. She subsequently returned to Serono’s Geneva headquarters to lead the company’s corporate R&D and worldwide regulatory affairs. Mrs Ricci has also been a member of Serono’s Executive Committee and Managing Director of Serono Europe Ltd. She has been an active member of major professional and trade associations operating in the areas of health policy and regulatory, such as EFPIA, EuropaBio and IFPMA, with a particular focus on the promotion of innovation, biotechnology and orphan drugs.
