Biography
Dr. has obtained is B.S. from the University of Padova, Italy (2003), his M.S. from the University of Pittsburgh, USA (2004), and his Ph.D. from the University of Pennsylvania, USA (2008) - defending a thesis on primordial non-Gaussianity and photometric redshift surveys.Soon after he joined the Korea Institute for Advanced Study in Seoul as a postdoctoral research fellow, where he was also involved in the Horizon Runs, among the world’s largest cosmological N-body simulations to date. He then moved to Paris, where he currently holds a research associate position at IRFU CEA Saclay, besides being a PCCP fellow. He is a member of the SDSS-III collaboration, in the French Participation Group (FPG).His most recent work is focused on hydrodynamical simulations of the Lyman-alpha forest with massive neutrinos, for the Baryon Oscillation Spectroscopic Survey (BOSS).
Research Interest
Graziano Rossi works on theoretical and observational cosmology, with research interests spanning a variety of topics - from structure formation and the large-scale structure of the Universe, till the analysis of the cosmic microwave background radiation and statistical problems applied to astrophysics.
