Biography
Pierre Guibert has over 15 years of experience in environmental science and engineering, with special emphasis on remediation of contaminated sites. His specific areas of expertise include remediation of dense non-aqueous phase liquids (DNAPL) and hazardous-waste landfills, soil and groundwater investigations, remedial cost assessments, hydrogeological modeling and management of site cleanup operations for international industrial clients. He has also provided litigation support, managed environmental financial reserves and conducted health, safety and environment (HSE) site audits. Pierre has been appointed as an environmental expert in a work group dedicated to industrial sites (Conseil Supérieur des Installations Classées) for the French Environmental Ministry. He holds an MS in Environmental Geosciences from the Polytechnic National Institute of Lorraine, and is a qualified geologist from the Higher Institute of Geology.
